about skin
We use genuine cattle leather of different thickness and quality.
Not let's speak about each type so that you can choose the one that better suits your needs and likes.

Basically, our leather can be divided into three types:

1 Vintage
2 Smooth
3 Textured

Each has its peculiarities: softness, density (shape stability), nice smell.
Each leather type requires care.

You may order accessories of any color in our range.
Vintage

Matte, darkens and the patterns become uneven, soft.

Vintage leather is Crazy Horse type — durable high- quality cattle leather. It got this name due to the
specific ageing effect. This effect takes place due to the special curing: a mixture of waxes with high melting temperature and some additives are applied to the polished crust by heating.

In the crease, bend or tension areas Crazy horse changes color and becomes lighter.
Crazy horse leather easily reveals marks and scratches, chafes, and this unique picture gives it an ageing effect. Scratches are easily removed at will. You only need to wipe this area with a soft cloth. This leather will get darker with time.

Smooth premium

With medium gloss, natural patterns, bright and pleasant smell, fancy aging, holds shape perfectly.

We use Walpier and Тempesti leather, these are leading Italian leather suppliers.

For example, Walpier manufactures quality vegetable leather for three generation already. Buttero leather is the paragon and the main achievement of the company, the production formula was being improved for 45 years.

The leather of these articles is soft, but dense. It is silky by touch, as the surface layer was preserved, the leather was neither scraped, nor polished. This leather has noticeable pores. Sometimes you can see small defects, streaks, natural marks on it.

The full cycle of tanning with vegetable tannins is quite long and takes about 12 months. The cost of this leather is much higher.

This 1.2mm thick leather fits perfectly for wallets, covers and cardholders.

Textured

Medium gloss, granular relief, durable to scratches, simple care, very soft.

Pleasant to touch leather, with granular relief. Ideal for those who like products with soft shapes.

Each section of the leather sheet differs in its pattern — from large and small grains to an almost smooth surface. This means that there will not be a single repeating part on the bag.

The leather does not change in appearance with time. It ages nobly at the folds and corners. Dirt is easily removed with a damp soft cloth.

Leather care

Genuine leather accessories need thorough care. This is especially true of vintage leather, which, due to the lack of the surface protection, dries out a little over time, fades and accumulates scratches on the surface.

If you want to update the look of your accessory and restore color saturation, we recommend treating the accessory with a colorless gel containing natural fats.

Having tested various genuine leather care products, we recommend the products of the French brand Saphir.
For the care you need the following:

— colorless wax/gel with natural fats;
— white sponge;
— soft tissue for polishing.

Application procedure:

1. Apply the agent to the product with the sponge
2. Let soak and dry for 5-10 minutes
3. Polish the surface with a soft tissue by light circular movements

Care intervals:

First six months: Every two months
Then 1-2 times per year
Scratches

You can always remove minor scratches on vintage leather by gently wiping the surface with a soft cloth. But the application of gel is much better, It renews the surface of the article, and also saturates the leather with natural oils.

If the leather gets wet

Gently wipe the leather surface with soft cotton tissue. Allow to dry naturally, away from sources of heat and direct sunlight. We recommend to generously spray the product with a moisture-repellent spray once a season.

If the leather gets dry

Use matte, colorless gel/wax with natural fats. These products nourish the leather, renew its appearance and enhance its color.

If the leather gets dirty

Remove the dirt with a damp cloth. Do not use wet tissues, solvents or chemical detergents,

Storage

If you don't plan to use the article for a long while, fill it with paper, put it in a dust cover, and then store in a dark, dry place, away from heat sources.

Leather features that should be considered when choosing an article

Reinforcing

In bags and backpacks, we use various types of reinforcing and duplicating elements, due to them the article will retain its shape for longer time. The points where there is no need to use duplicate elements may slightly change their shape over time, mainly stretch.

The leather becomes smoother

The genuine leather is very strong, because the fibers are very dense. As you use the article, the fibers gradually loosen and the skin becomes softer. This is especially noticeable at the corners of the article and in heavy loaded areas. At the same time, the strength of the article does not decrease: it will delight you for many years.

Digital printing

On the back (flesh) of a piece of leather, numbers may be printed indicating the piece dimensions. We use these parts not only out of a thrifty attitude to natural resources, but also because these tags remind us that the article you are holding in your hands has gone through numerous manual operations in order to become exactly the way you want it to be.

Color transfer

Friction between the leather article and the garment moves the pigments from one surface to another. That is, dark dyed leather can leave marks on light- colored clothing, and vice versa.

It is easy to remove the dye from clothes with the help of a regular wash, but it is not always easy for dyed skin to return to its original appearance.
